The new branch of Qd’s at Lajpat Nagar isn’t just about Tandoori Momos anymore. They are serving some amazing cuisines including pizza, pasta, Dosa, streetfood and much more at an unbelievable price. Yes! You heard that right. My favourite in the menu is the Bhuna Mutton Dosa, which has juicy chicken chunks stuffed inside the Dosa preparation and makes a lovely combination. My other favourite dishes here are Mandy’s chicken seekh pav and butter chicken platter. The best part? Hardly any dish crosses the pricing of Rs. 200.

Bonus: The ambiance is just beautiful with upside down planters, cute monkey lights, and a beautiful seating area.

Highly recommended!

Waffle Sundae – Hudson Cafe, Hudson Lane (Price: Rs 199)

One visit to this place would definitely bring you back to this place for more. This cafe maintains great hygiene, is extremely affordable and serves decent food – probably the main reason it’s so popular among the college crowd.

I love the crispy waffles they serve along with 3 different flavours of icecream, chocolate sauce and nuts. The preparation not just looks good, but tastes incredible. My other favourite dishe at this place includes the Hudson medley.

The place has a quirky ambiance with lively quotes and a pocket friendly menu.

Beyoncé burger at Cafeteria, Hudson Lane (Price: Rs 169)

This spicy chicken burger at Cafeteria is a perfect combination of fluffy buns, delicious sauces and thick juicy patties. The best part of this place is that you can actually see the preparation process of this burger at the live station. These big fluffy star shaped burgers are served with crispy some fries on the side. Other dishes like tiramisu crepes and southwest chicken hexizza at this beautiful cafe are worth trying once.

Nutella & David Off Cold Coffee – Cantino, Vijay Nagar (Rs149)

Be it summers or winters, Cold Coffee is simply irresistible! After trying my luck at about 50+ odd places, this is where I get THE BEST cold coffee. If you are a Nutella and coffee fan too, you would simply love it.
Cantino is a fairly new place, but does have the potential to become my new favourite hangout place owing to its beauty, service and such amazing offerings at a nominal price.

Home made ravioli pasta – Ricos, Hudson Lane (Rs 200)

ravioli pasta

The ravioli pasta with chicken and cheese at Ricos is an experience in itself. The best part of this place is undoubtedly the service and gratitude of the staff. They make you feel so special and give you decent recommendations when asked.
On one such recommendation, I tried this ravioli pasta and was bowled with the perfection of this dish. The presentation and taste is delightful and it wouldn’t pinch your pockets much.
