Aim and Objectives To introduce the Aspects of Interior Decoration to the participants

A 2-day Workshop that will focus on Interior Decoration for Residential Spaces, enabling the participants to learn about ideas and ways to decorate their own homes, through discussions and brainstorming sessions followed by a small hands-on exercise.

The Key points that the workshop will focus are:

• What is Interior Decoration? What are the elements of Interior Decoration that can be used to enhance a Residential Space?
• Trends in Interior Decoration(Discussion on Styles and Themes)
• Choosing a Style/Theme and creating the look
• Tips about sourcing
• Hands-on Exercise for Decorating/Styling a Residential space

Duration of the workshop: 2 days (2 Hours each day)

Dates: 29^th. July 2017 (Saturday) &  30^th. July 2017 (Sunday)

Venue: Pearl Academy, Delhi (West )

Participants need to carry following things-

Stationary and Resources : Large Brown paper sheets for Brainstorming Exercise, Sketch pens, fat-tip markers, old Design Magazines,  Fevicol , Scissors and Cutters, A-3 size  Cartridge Sheets.

Pre-requisites: Participants must bring photos of one particular area of their own homes that they would like to decorate(Drawing Room/Living Room/Bedroom etc)

• Introduction to the elements of Interior Decoration that can be used to enhance the Décor of a Residential Space. Eg. Accessories, Furniture, Furnishings, Colours, Design Process followed for Interior Decoration Projects (Presentation followed by discussion)

Day 2: 30th. July 2017 Sunday

• Presentation on Style-based interior design schemes for Interior spaces. (Presentation by Faculty)
• Hands-on exercise on Creating a Style-board for a chosen Residential space of the participants (Individual Exercise)
