In order to help our members hone this art & expand it to different areas, NBT Rangmanch Club brings a special workshop series on Indian Traditional Art. The 4th workshop in this series would cover MADHUBANI PAINTING.
Mithila painting (also known as Madhubani painting) is practiced in the Mithila state of Nepal and in the Bihar state of India. The themes on which these paintings are based include nature and mythological events. These eye catching and vibrant paintings have a very distinct style that captures the viewer’s attention with their geometrical patterns & bright colors.
This art can be used for both wall paintings/decorative items as well as fabric design as well.
